Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Xchanger website, API, and dashboard (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Mango Labs LTDA (“Mango Labs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Xchanger provides live and historical currency and cryptocurrency exchange-rate data through a REST API, along with a dashboard for managing API keys and viewing usage. Exchange-rate data is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for trading, financial, or other decisions.

Xchanger is a read-only data service. It is not an exchange, broker, dealer, wallet, or money-services business. It does not facilitate, execute, or settle trades; does not exchange, convert, buy, or sell any currency or cryptocurrency; and does not hold, custody, or transmit any funds or crypto assets on behalf of any user. Any “convert” endpoint returns a calculated value derived from published reference rates and does not move money or assets.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe an API key has been compromised. You must provide accurate information and be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Exceed the rate or usage limits applicable to your plan, or attempt to circumvent them.
• Share, resell, or expose your API keys to unauthorized parties.
• Use the Service to violate any law, infringe others’ rights, or transmit malicious code.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it.

Plans and billing

The Service offers free and paid plans with different usage limits. Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment provider on a recurring basis until canceled. Usage that exceeds your plan’s limits may be throttled or blocked. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by Mango Labs and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding. Subject to these Terms, you may use the data returned by the API within your own applications.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exchange-rate data will be accurate, complete, or timely.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mango Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Comarca de Belo Horizonte, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil.
